Hi,

for my 6505+ 60 Watt Head i bought a British Lead and a HM 75.

I have them now, just for testing, in a old Peavey 4x12 with 2 closed Holes.

They sound fine with the 6505 and now i need to know in what Cab i should bring them in.

What are the Recommendations regarding the Box size/Volume? (for each Speaker and combinend)

Is a closed cab better or a open one?

I've heard that that HM75 can run in a closed cab but the BL should run in a large closed cab or open back cab.

Greetz and thanks

Andy

Ultimately, this is up to you!

In a 2x12, I like the size of the classic big-box Marshall 1936 ... with a 1/3-open back.  Here is the exact cab i love:

or a cheaper alternative:

That is a REALLY good cab for the money!

Be SURE to read this blog, too:

Hi Vaughn,

thanks for your Answer.

I read the Blog but it's not the Case to blow someone away. It's more a Question of Sound.

Now, in the 4x12 I'm missing the Low Ends a bit, may the Cab is too big for these ones.

But anyway I guess there's no way around to test it with a open, a half open Box and maybe a closed 2x12 to find

my personell Favorite.

I will have look for a XL 2x12 like your Suggestions from Avatar, TubeTown has a similar one.
