I am playing a brand new Two Rock Studio pro plus into a 2*12 with 2 tone tubby but I find the speakers have too much medium and not enough bass.

Which speaker would you advise knowing that I am not a fan of medium and that I play most of the time at home (low volume)?

I also tried the amp with a 1*12 (the cab of My Fargen miniplex) with a reaper. It sounds al lot better...

any ideas?

I was getting ready to say "2 Reapers"! ... but you beat me to it ...

The other obvious choice would be a pair of ET65's ... or, of course one of each.

sorry I read your interesssantly meaning. Meanwhile do you try the mix

of a Reaper (Standard??? or HP) with the ET 65???

I like WGS Speakers much more than Tone Tubbies or Celestions.

And your Mix will be very exciting if it works well for you??
