Hi!

I've just bought a Two-Rock Studio Pro 35 head. I am looking for a cab for this brilliant amp.

I have seen Vaughns detailed test of 2x12's so I have a pretty good idea about what I want; the 1265 x Reaper - or - 1265 x Retro combo sounds excellent to me. I am not digging the Vintage 30 thing at all.

I am a strat player (and love a good tele, too) – sonically I am in the Matt Schofield – John Mayer – Kirk Fletcher – Clapton area. I am after a touch sensitive and detailed clean sound that reacts well to dirt pedals.

My dirt pedals are a Providence SOV-1 and a Fulltone OCD.

The cab I am planning on getting is a Dumble style cab / Two-Rock style cab – horizontal 2x12.

I know that sound is very subjective – but I would love to hear any 2-cents on this subject.

Thanks!

Thomas

I know this was a while ago but saw that no one replied. Did you end up getting anything that worked?

Front his post, the ET65 pairing seems to be standard:
