Looking for speaker recommendations for a 1x12 Reeves ported cabinet which I recently acquired used and unloaded. I'll be using it primarily with an Allen Old Flame (great Backface Super type amp) and a JTM 45. Les Pauls, Teles and Strats are my main guitars. I play everything from classic rock to modern country. I like G12-65 and G12-30H type speakers in my various current setups.

My main giging amp is a '67 BF Super Reverb ... I've seen the Allen online, but never played ...
To me, a HUGE part of the Super magic is the 4x10 config. I've tried for years to reproduce that magic in a 1x12 ... the closest I have came is with my '65 Bassman in a 1x12 combo cab ... with a ET65. Sooo, I'd say go w/an ET65 ...
Hey Vaughn, I ordered the et 65, 4 ohm based on your super rev reply. It was that or the Veteran 30. I am hoping the 65 isn't too scooped, since the bassman already has that tendency stock. I am excited to get it. I would rather not change any tone caps. Whatev, THANKS!
