Hi,

i'm looking for the right speaker for my ISO12 by Jet City, I have a 2x12 cab with celestion g12m25, already - I prefer the greenback sound, my head is the Laney CAB (15w)

for isocab purpose, Try with the Green Beret? The Invader, ET65?

advise?

thanks

Yes, I agree that the Green Beret would be an excellent choice, that is what I would go with ... unless, you might use the cab with a higher-wattage amp at some time, in which case I would choose the ET65.

ok, why you excluded the invader?

Instead, about my cab 2x12 open back, now I have celestion greenback, I was thinking of putting in place something that's a cross between a greenback and a v30, for a 2x12 open back what I recommend? I love the greenback sound, I like the consistent low and middle pronounced, reaper? reaper hp? or some else?

thanks

So that's how it goes here? If you have a good idea it gets published under Vaughn's name? Disappointing. I've evangelized WGS for a long time. Ethics fail...

Holy cow Bob ... got no idea at all what on earth you are talking about!

Anyway ... as far as why I didn't include the Liberator ... two things:

1. Personally, it's just not one of my favorite WGS models.

2. It really needs to be hit fairly hard to open up and sound good ... and with the iso cab, you most likely want something that can open up and sound full at a more reasonable volume.

Okay ... that weird comment about me plagiarizing made me miss this part of your question ... so ...

In the WGS line, that would be the Invader.
