Hello, I wanted to replace advice from my speakers Vibroverb reissue 63, what do you recommend?

seeking a clean sound and warm, use guitars fender and gibson 335

Use low/mid gain overdrive pedal for sounds to larry carlton, scofield and related.

thanks!!

Alex

I just put 2 WGS ET10s in my (modified) DRRI. Fab. They are nicely balanced. I am a jazz/funk/rocky guy and can totally relate to the Larry Carlton, Scofield thing. I use various pedals (Timmy, Zendrive, Plimsoul) for dirt and the ET10s are happy with all of them. Guitars are mostly Guild Bluesbird, Heritage 535 and sometimes Carvin DC135.

Yes, I'm in total agreement with Gary ... if it were me it would be a pair of G10's ... if you want to make the amp a good bit warmer and smokier, you could go G10C/S ... but it will be a fairly dramatic darkening!  Super cool amp ... wish I had one!

Sorry if I've taken a while to answer your question.  I've been fighting Pneumonia the last couple of weeks!
