What would you recommend for a lighter replacement for a 38 year old EVM12? The speaker is in a 50 watt Fuchs ODS which was converted by Fuchs from an old Music Man 112RD-100. The EVM12 sounds good but is god-awful heavy. Is there a Warehouse speaker which would be a good (and lighter) replacement for blues and jazz? Although the Fuchs is technically 50 watts, I have measured its output at 75 watts when driven full out.

Ha... when I read the title I thought "nothing but another EVM 12L" ... but then I read on ... you want LIGHTER...
Well, probably the closest thing in the WGS line (as of today), is the ET-90; I think you would find it a very good replacement, and it would shed several pounds, too!
