I had installed 2 Reaper HP's and 2 Retro 30'2 in 4x12 cab, but the thing I really don't like the sound. I like how the Reapers sound through my amp, which is kinda Uberschall sounding. Retros sound kinda harsh, defenitely not for me. Reaper sounds more so to say full sounding to my ears. I need a tight with good note definition, sort of prestine sound on high gain like here for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgk378ONphM&lc=qsHpuwKzC0BlZqlSxsZed9IiJFJEvM_tEbEFkmr_N3E&context=C32d99e0ADOEgsToPDskL2uaggHVK0Y5MJ8eZmloyb. What you would recommend me to do? Pair them with some other spekers or just install another pair of Reapers and this would be enough for my demands?

Thanks for your help.

P.S. By the way cab has the dimensions like Diezel 412 V30 cabs, but rear-loaded.

I think that mating them with a pair of ET65's will REALLY get you where you want to be!

And, yea, the combo of Reapers (especially the HP's) and Retro 30's isn't something I would recommend personally.

Hope this helps ... please post back w/your results!

Thanks for an advice, I will try this one out. Onother advice I've heard from the guys from different forums is to match Reapers with HM75 or any other more bass sounding speaker and to put them not in an x-pattern like I have, but under the Reapers.

What you think?

Anyway thanks for your advice, and I think I will try different variants and yours gonna be the first one in a list.

Will post back when gonna try this one.

ET65's on the bottom, Reapers on top!
