First I tried ET-65/Vet 30 in X pattern in a 4X12. It was almost unusable. The sound was way too schizophrenic, the top on one side is the bottom on the other side.
I didn't have a lot of confidence going parallel with ET-65 on top. But what a difference! It is a FULL sounding speaker. And I am unable to tell any real difference in tone character coming from each speaker, whereas it just blends together so well.
It's an unbeatable combination. I have it matched up against the competition, which has been around for decades, and I find myself gravitating to my WGS mix all of the time.
