Greetings All,

i recently picked up a DV Mark 1-12 combo and not really bonding with their neo-classic speaker. it seems a little to hi-fi for me. It seesm to be very nuetral

its a 2 channel open back and the amp tends to be a little on the dark sidewith a strong mid.  what do you guys think; ET-65?  That always seems to be the winner!

cheers

Tony

update -

i have since dropped in my ET-65 from a amp that is getting sold;  i feel that is a improvment for sure!  i think the the ET in this setup is a little more fuller and rounder if that makes any sense.   the stock neo is just a little to hi-def for me.  The only downer is that the amp is heavier now, but is not a big deal.

the OD tones to me are much better to my ears.  any way i love me some ET-65!

cheers

Yea ... actually I would probably suggest the ET65 anyway ... the other really good option would be a Reaper HP ... but it sounds like the ET65 is working out ... so cool beans!  Oh, and thanks for the report, those are killer little amps ... I wish I could do a shoot out between one and my Quilter MicroPro MK II !!!
