Looking for speaker suggestions to mix with some well broke in Vintage 30's in a Marshall JCM 900 1960A. Thinking either the ET-65

or the Reaper(30 watt).  Have Marshall TSL60 and mainly use clean channel with pedals. Playing basically 70's - 80's era hard rock/ light metal. Would like thoughts on either of these two choices. Looking for that classic Marshall crunch and want to keep things on the vintagey side. Have mixed ET-65/Green Beret in past and thought was very good combo. Have Reaper/Green Beret in 2x12 and

that sounds very good. Have also used that combo in a X pattern in a 4x12 and was very pleased with the tone. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Either the Reaper or ET65 are very good choices ... the ET65 is a little more old-school organic in feel, and the Reapers are a little more thick on the bottom end (and a bit louder).

Oh, and if you choose Reapers, I'd go HP ... I like the way they sound a LITTLE better, and with a Kapton former, there's no chance of burning the paper former of the 30-watt version.
