I have a VHT Special 6 ultra combo. I also have a VHT 2x12 cab. My plan is to install an 8 ohm Black and Blue in the combo and a 16 ohm Reaper and 16 ohm Reaper 55hz in the 2x12 cab. Right now I have a reaper in the combo. My question is what differance in power will an 8 ohm speaker (Black and Blue) make over a 16 ohm spaker(reaper) that is in the combo now. Louder or less loud on the combo by itself(8 ohm) and also with the cab and combo speakers connected together(4 ohms)

The single 8-ohm will pair perfectly with the two 16-ohm in parallel (which will total 8 ohms).

One suggestion I would make is to go with a Blackhawk instead of the BnB ... because 1) it sounds better with more solid bottom end 2) it takes high-gain way better, and 3) if you ever want to use it with a bigger amp you can!
