Just a heads up to you guys at WGS--
I attended Jamey Aebersold's Jazz Camp a month ago in Louisville and had a wonderful time rubbing shoulders with so many fantastic musicians, professionals and hackers like me. As my instrument is guitar, I was placed in combo groups and as part of the curriculum, attended master classes with such guitar greats as Mike DiLiddo, Dave Stryker, Craig Wagner, and especially Corey Christiansen. After discussing his setup with him in one of the classes, I am happy to report that Corey uses ET-65s in his custom designed Dumble clone. He seemed to be new to WGS, but said loves the sound he gets from them. Of course, I had to say they were made right down the road in Paducah! You can hear them in action with his latest release, "Factory Girl," which was released a few months ago.
Thanks, Mike McWilliams
Thanks for the heads-up ... great player!
