First post here-

I recently acquired a 65 Princeton Reverb Reissue in effort to have smaller amp to lug around vs the heavier Fender amps I have had in the past.

I am really interested in swapping to a 12" speaker in the Princeton to help create more fullness and dynamic response.

I play as a guitarist for hire in the Texas area and play southern Rock and blues and also play for a local church in Austin Texas, so I need a speaker that can carry the fully range of sounds being pushed into it and not start distorting when u have to use the real spacey reverb sounds.

The 10" speaker sounds great but is not handling that ambient reverb sounds and starts distorting.

I need help getting into a great 12" speaker from Warehouse that will handle what I am needing and I do not know what ohms or wattage is safe for my amp.

any help will be greatly appreciated!

Don't do it ... the cab is just too small for a 12 to work well.   Instead, put in a G10C ... it's a HUGE sounding speaker ... you will be very happy!
