Hey Vaughn,  I notice you suggest the g10c/a as the staple 10" speaker, and the et10 when the amp is bright or if the persons current speakers sound harsh.

I have an H&K Tubemeister 18 (5)(1)w head, going through a blackstar 1x10 cabinet with the stock 40w 16ohm speaker. Feels harsh and bright so i'm going et10  right now, but I'm curious to know, in what situation would the g10cs be applicable?

I ask because the TM18 is overly trebly to my ears even though my favorite eq is treble. It gets worse everywhere past 12 O'clock. The higher I raise the bass EQ, the more I lose control when riding the 6th string, so i never really need to raise it too much. With mids, I dont seem notice the change as much as bass/treb. I do know the guitar is mostly midrange so in theory it's the most crucial EQ parameter. The tone chart for the WGS speakers has the ET10 at 646 and the g10cs 556. This kind of contradicts what I am thinking is important: less lows, more mids, and less treble from what ive read (even though they both have the same rating of 6) making the g10cs another option. Maybe I'm overthinking this though.

Yea ... I actually don't pay any attention to the "tone chart" ... I've done a bunch of shootouts, and the G10C/S (smooth cone) is WAAAAYYYY warmer and woodier than an ET10.  Soooo, the G10C/S just might be exactly what you are looking for!
