Hi, anyone try this combo in a vintage Fender Twin? I currently have a pair of G12C/S in my 1968 Twin. I like it but am wondering if I am missing out as it seems the ET65 is often recommended here for Twins.

I think the efficiency of each speaker is the same. Just wondering if having both in the amp would make dialing in EQ a challenge.

Thanks in advance.

i had the c/s with a Jensen c12n in a Twin recently. Sounded great but the speakers spl didn't match and I could hear oneside over the other at low volumes. I was on the fence between going with two c12n or doing a c/s with a regular g12 or just another c/s. I went with the Jensens as I just really liked that speaker with the Twin.

The c/s in the twin went very well. I highly recommend it. I think the et65 would go well but I would make sure you are keeping the spl close as you may end up with a difference in balance of sound. Heck I might even try it myself.
