What up guys! I have a few Avatar 412 cabs loaded with Celestion Vintage 30s and want to mix in some WGS speakers. I've used the Vintage 30/75 mix. Powerful sound but didn't necessarily "like" the tone. I'm on the fence between The Reaper mixed with the Vintage 30s or the Retro 30 mixed with the Vintage 30s. I have the Retro in a 1x12 combo and love it. Retro/Vintage 30 was my original plan but after hearing a few videos of the Reaper, I'm torn now. I play higher gain 80's stuff. Ratt, Dokken, Zakk Wylde style tones. So what you guys think? Vintage 30's with Reapers? Or Vintage 30's with Retros???? Any opinions on the two choices would be appreciated.

VERY different tones!
The Retro 30 will add in a bit of very top-end chime/sparkle, and maybe a bit of very bottom end strength ... while keeping all the midrange fairly unchanged from the Vint-30s.
The Reaper will be a LOT more like Eddie Van Halen's old Greenback/D120 combo. The Reapers will add in some organic lower-midrange and roundness ... almost the opposite of the Ret 30's!
