Hi Freaks, here is Holly from Germany,

I have played a long time in one of my 2 x 12 open back cabs the following

Setup:

ET 65 plus Invader = not my first love but a good greenback tone

ET 65 plus ET 65 = a little bit too much for my ampsetting

ET 65 plus Reaper Hp = a good marshall tone setup.

both speaker alone in a 1 x 12 cab= then my first will be the reaper hp!

The Et 65 is a fine speaker but with effects it sounds sometimes too dull and fizzy:

So if someone has more experience with a alnico/ceramic setup, or Vaughn will help:

What do you think guys about the mix of

Reaper Hp with WGS Blackhawk, both 50 watt each on a 30 watt tube amp.

My music style is a little bit versatile between Led Zep blues, Gary Moore tone

and a little bit moderate Rockstyle like Brian Adams or else.

If somebody will help and talk about it will be a pleasure to hear that.

Thanks and have Good Times, Holly

Oh yea baby!  The Blackhawk 50 is my absolute favorite 12" ever.  And yes, it would mate nicely with a Reaper HP!

If you had two semi (1/3) open back cabs, which would you put on top of stacked? The BlackHawk or the Reaper hp? My gut told me to try this pair instead of the recommended Invader and I'm glad of it, but I've been using them one at a time and am ready to try and pair them with a 40w el84 head
