To whom it may concern,

Would the new 10 inch Green Beret speaker be a good match for the Vox AC4C1?  Has anyone tried this?  I'm not so happy with the stock VX10 speaker and think it's time for an upgrade.

Thanks Vaughn,

I'm glad it's out -  there really isn't a lot for the 10" British voiced combos, and Celestion has gotten so expensive and is, in my opinion, somewhat overrated.  This Green Beret 10" looks like it would be perfect for the smaller wattage Voxes, Marshalles, and Blackstars, probably be ordering one very soon!

I love my AC4C1 but find that it's way too bright and could use more bottom end. It's a 10" speaker in a cheapo cabinet so I'm not expecting earth-shattering bass but something that could tame the top end without losing too much of the current character would be great.

Yea ... another GREAT option will be the ET-10 ... being released any day now!
