Hi,

l've just order a a pinewood combo cab for my Fender Super Champ X2

The g12c seems a good choice but I am worried the highs will be too shrill.

 

I play rock and blues and sometimes metal but I a learning jazz from guitar teacher so I need flexibility.

i usually use the blackface setting but sometimes the other strings.

i am wondering if the g12a or g12 cs might be good alternatives..

originally I thought the G12a would be good but I am worried the bass will be to soft for rock possible....

 

any suggestions?

 

Obviously its its a modelling amp. Apparently the fender speakers is quite flat to allow the user to use all the different app models.

Yep, probably so!  My first choice would probably be a tie between the ET-65 and Reaper.

Sorry if I've taken a while to answer your question.  I've been fighting Pneumonia the last couple of weeks!
