Hi,
I own a small 25W transistor combo amp dating back from the 90's from the Park division of Marshall.

There is a 10" speaker 8 ohms inside indicating the RMS power rated at 25W andf the music power at 50W. I find it "flat" and I am looking for an upgrade in the wgs range. Which one would you recommend ?

I want to keep a 10" speaker. I add that I don't play loud, this is just a practice amp for home use.

Okay ... given everything you've said ... I'd go with the ET10. That'll make it sound a little more "classic Marshall" and also a little more tuby and organic ... and won't add to terribly much in the way of weight or volume (although it WILL add some).

What if I'd choose atvlesser power rated speaker like the green beret or the veteran30?

Thank you. I say I don't play loud :) Volume at 3 on the clean channel or 4 on the drive. What if I'd go for the Green Beret or the Veteran 30 just to stay reasonable with power?

You mean the Retro rather than the Veteran, don't you, seeing there is no 10" Veteran on the menu. But then I'm positive the good people at WGS could reach out and make a one-off if asked to.
