Hey Vaughn! I have a '68 silverface bandmaster and a 5 watt Winfield Typhoon (Vox AC15 style). I'm interested in running both through a single stereo cab each with their own speakers. Which speakers do you recommend would capture the sound of each amp individually yet sound well playing together? The size of the speakers doesn't matter. Thank you!

Okay ... I have a '68 Bandmaster too ... man talk about GREAT vintage amps that can still be bought somewhat reasonably priced! I keep wondering why a Bassman of the same year will always sell for MORE than a Bandmaster when they are the exact same amp, only the bandmaster has the welcome addition of TREMOLO!

Anyway, I absolutely LOVE my Bandmaster into a vintage small-box tilt-back Fender 2x12 cab with a Reaper and a Reaper 55 that I did a 1/3 open-back conversion on. That combo allows for huge, fat & full tones even at low volumes; it's a very warm combo, but as you know, the Bandmasters have PLENTY of top-end available!

Soooo ... I'd recommend that combo ... not sure which amp to pair with which speaker ... try both ways and see what works best! Oh, and do the 1/3 open back.
