Hi. I have a Fender EC Twinolux. I find it a little shy in the bass frequencies. What speakers would you recommend to get more bass and more volume? Thanks

Yea ... those darn BRIGHT Jensens!!! Anyway, one ET65 & one Smooothcone G12C/S ... if ya don't mind mixing. 2 ET65's otherwise :-)

I actually believe those are Weber designed, Eminence built speakers, seamed cone alnicos similar to those of the first re-issue Tweed Twins. I recall this Tonequest online publication stating that our ears having become so used to good low end and british tones vintage authentic simply doesn't cut it, regardless how true to the original it gets. Their sample received a pair of G12H30s, similar perhaps to what Keith Richards runs in his amps. My guess is that the Reaper would excel here.
