Egnater Tourmaster 4x12 with Chinese Vintage 30's

I am a blues player, what would the best replacement speaker for blues for this Cab? I like clean clear and articulant sound want my amp to slice through the mix. These Vintage 30's are a year old and have a darker sound than my Marshall 1932 with England made Vintage 30's. Love my Egnater just need some great sounding speakers to make it even better. Any help would be souly appreciated.

Sounds like Retro 30's would be right for you.

Vaughn the Retro 30's in the 4 x 12 Cabinet are simply awesome. I've been a Stage and Studio Musician in the Nashville area for years and I like many others are Tone Freaks always searching for that certain tone. I am telling you the last 10 years I've use nothing but the Clestion Vintage 30's. Good for somethings not so good for others the WGS Retro 30's are good for it all. I rarely use a 4 x 12 closed back cabint always open backs because of the tones coming out of the rear mixed with the front. When I played through the cab with the new Reto's I was amazed, where has the Retro's been I should have had them long ago.

Thank You so Much

Vaughn you and your company make a great product for the Working Musician hats off to you brother. Awesome product

Cool ... a fellow Nashvillian! (The WGS plant is in Paducah KY, but I'm in Nashville). We'll have to get together sometime. And yea, the Ret 30, with all it's added sparkle and "dimensionality" is really stellar in a closed-back cab. Like you, I generally like open or semi-open cabs.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post back here with your results ... so we can ALL learn from them!
