I am looking to upgrade my Valveking speakers.  I mostly play metal in drop C but we DO NOT scoop the mids.  I have seen the HM75 recommended often but the demos sound flat/dead to me.  I am leaning more towards the British Lead or the ET65 but wanted to ask for assistance before purchasing.  I am looking for a speaker that can tighten up the bass, kill the upper fizz, and still sound dynamic.  Since you guys are more familiar with the actual sounds of the speakers, I will accept your advice when making a purchase.

Almost anything will fit that bill ;-)

Actually, for you, I'd recommend ET-90's
