Hello WGS! 

 

I recently acquired a set of GBE1240-V75 speakers that were pulled from a Tubeworks/Genz-Benz 212 Flex cabinet. I have not tested the speakers yet, but the man I got the speakers from said that they were voiced like V30s. I'm debating on whether to get a pair of Retro 30s to be closer to the voicing and wattage. However, the ET-90's also seem like a good completmenary pair too.

Which pair would provide a full spectrum sound and provide ample headroom? These speakers will loaded into an Ampeg V-4 4x12. My understanding of this cab is that it is a bass and treble booster.
