Hi! Im looking at getting replacement speakers for my 2x12 can for the DR EZG50. What do you recommend for that? I mainly play blues rock and rock.

Do you find it too sharp/piercing or maybe hard/sterile stock?

Okay, that's generally my feeling with those amps, too ... so my for sure tried n true suggestion is a pair of ET65's!

Over the ET65/Reaper or ET65/Retro??? I use a Duellist OD, germanium fuzz, octafuzz, delay and vibe machine.... do you think the ETs would keep clarity and have punch?

Hummm ... yes probably so. I'm going to say not the Ret in that amp. However, an ET65 and a Reaper HP WOULD be a very good fit ... and the Reaper would bring in a little bit more solid bottom end to the ET65's warm and organic sweetness ... so your call!
