Hi there....

I just recieved a pair of Veteran 10's for my small 2 x 10" Vibroverb Reissue, to replace two Webers that I found way to midrangy... BUT also to test them, hooked up to my VibroKing, as I want other speakers in that one as well (it's loaded with some trebly stock Jensen P10R RI).....

Actually the VibroKing itself is kinda bright, i figured out, but still some more tonal complexity and bloom, when I ran an extension cord to the Veteran 10's in the Vibroverb cabinet, than the Jensens.... but now the question, would the 20W Veteran 10 hold up against the 60W VibroKing..? 3x10" in parallel..?

Please note, I have a Texan blues guitar player using that amp when touring here in Europe, running the volume at 7 for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours in a row.

I now you might want to lead me towards other speakers than Veterans, but I don't want louder or more efficient speakers, by NO means... loud enough already.... plus I'm poor :-)

Thanks

Bee

Hey Bee! Man, I LOVE those little Vets when they run in gangs ... they are my #1 choice for Super Reverbs and Tweed Bassman amps (apart from old CTS Alnico maybe) and as for 3x10 ... go for it, when WGS says 20-watts ... they MEAN it!

Thanks Vaughn...

I already bought three, and have installed with some good Evidence Audio speaker cable.... still neeed to test oustide the apartment though, cause it's still pretty loud :-)
