Hi,
I have a '73 Vibrolux reverb. I repalced the stock Utah's ( or Oxfords ) with Weber 10A125 and 10A150 ceramics. I think they sound too harsh and in your face. I had a 10A125 in my '66 BF Princeton Reverb and replaced it for a Warehouse G10C, which was a great choice. I want to change the Webers in my Vibrolux. Would two G10C's be a good choice? A friend of mine has a '66 Vibrolux with G10C/s in it. Liked the sound very much. Could pick those too. Or maybe a G10C and a G10C/s What would you recommend?
Thanx ,Richard
Yea ... an amp I know well!
The two G10C's would make it HUGE ... big bottom, in your face top.
I think you might really like the combo of one G10C & one G10C/S ... it would still be huge, but a little warmer and more organic.
And last ... if you want the amp to sound "Factory original" ... go for a pair of Vet 10s. Not nearly as loud/huge ... but very sweet.
