I recently purchased a used Peavey Valve King 2x12 100 watt combo. It needed upgrading so bad. I replaced all the preamp and power tubes but still theValve KIng speakers sucked. I bought 1 EL-90 and a Retro 30 and it changed the sound so much. I love the headroom and how it even made the Peavey's dirty channel sound more brown and not muddy. Thanks again for an outstanding product.
