Hello, I'm building a Supro 1624t, single tone control type, call it an 18W (but its more like 10W) I think it originally came with either a 12" Rola alnico 4 ohm smooth cone speaker or, by some accounts, a Jensen c12ps. I'm looking for fat tone, easy breakup, and it doesn't have to be loud since this is for home playing (its not a loud circuit anyway). LIke every other 1624t owner, I would like to reach for a Led Zep I tone. I'm thinking about trying the g12q, looks like its a ribbed cone but says it breaks easily... is that a fit? Any other recommendations? Thanks
