Hey guys! Can you give me some suggentions for a Carvin V3M? I'll be ordering one soon from the US (i live in Venezuela) but i have no idea what speaker would fit it's tone (EL84s, acording to forums it's dark voiced) i mainly play instrumental rock stuff, think G3 + some fusion. I would like a nice warm lead tone but still retaining note definition for fast runs, also i want a nice crunchy rythm tone. I was thinking about ET 65 + Veteran 30

Yea, I've been hearing "Dark", too!  Folks here have been having good results with V3M's & the Retro 30.

So, for you, I'd say make it a ET-90 & a Retro 30!

I'm a Carvin fan.  I just got a V3.  Running it on my Reaper 4x12's right now.  Sounds good, but is missing a little something.  I can't quite define it.  I have a mojotone 2x12 I'm going to compare the WGS 12L against the ET90's with on the V3.  I'll post back my thoughts.
