Hi everyone! Artur here, Poland.

I recently purchased a 2006' Fender SuperSonic 60W head and I'm looking for speakers to my 2x12 cab.

Amp seem to have huge potential in the clean tones (vintage channel), but I played it with only tho kind of speakers yet. First one was Carvin Legacy cab with Celestion V30 - I didn't liked the tone! Cleans sounded thin (especially Vibrolux mode) and kind of harsh (that I hate), and the drives sounded again - too harsh for me. Then I switched to a custom 2x12 cab loaded with new Jensens (Alnico 5, and Ceramic JETS - something like that) and that was nearly the sound that I'm looking for.

I'd like to have fat-fendery clean tone with no harshy highs, more mids than Vintage 30. What would you recommend guys? I really see a potential in this amp, I'd like to use it with Tubescreamers, Fuzz Faces etc... Just like Sayce. Any ideas?

here are some sound clips that I wish my amp sould sound:

here... I love the way high frequencies are here... thick sound, trebles are present, but veery musical, not harshy.

I'm a fairly new Supersonic Convert too!

For what you describe, my #1 choice would be a pair of Blackhawks. If ya can't swing the price ... #2 would be a pair of ET65's.

Oh, and with the SS ... make sure to go open-back ... or at least semi-open (1/3 open)!

Why an open back?
Dumble style - oval open back would be ok?

 Why especially ET65?
It's worth mentioning, that for now I think I'll be using a Bassman mode of a vintage channel + stomp OD's.
Do you still think ET65 wolud be ok?

thanks for previous reply!
