I have both a Peavey 5150 2x12 combo (which I love) that I am modding into a 2x12 head and cab and a Bugera 333xl (not so in love) with a 4x12 slant. I have read a ton but have yet to hear and test the appropriate speaker replacements. For the 5150 I’m looking to increase the overall warmth over the original Sheffield 1200 without getting too aggressive in the midrange. The Bugera’s cab is terrible, this amp seems to be very upper mid treble harsh even with tube changes. Please feel free to suggest some options. Thanks!

If anyone wants to know the direction I’m considering, I would say the et65 because many reviews say its a nice middle ground between the hm75 and the vet 30
