I've got a Marshall JTM 30, 2 X 10, do I put two G10C's in, or one G10C and one G10C/S? I'm looking for the most "Fender" clean I can get. I play Soul and Funk, with a Tele.

Cool little combo!

since you state "I'm looking for the most "Fender" clean I can get" ...

Only go with smooth cones IF you want to add in a little old-school tweed/brown Fender vibe.

I play one of the most maligned amps on the guitar/amp forums, the Marshall JTM30 2x10.  I guess I got lucky, mine has never given me any problems and is one of the best gigging amps I ever owned, (I did switch out the 5881’s for 6L6’s).  It has always sounded more Fender than most Fenders I’ve played, but it was missing a little something in the mid and bass area, (with the stock Celestion Heritage speakers). I purchased a WGS, G10C and G10CS in hopes that they would fit my needs. It’s great having two 10’s so you can mix or match speakers

I put the speakers in and within 15 minutes realized, these speakers made an incredible impact on the tone of this amp.  Right out of the box, without any break in, they are warm, full of rich overtones, maintain the sparkling highs and are loud as hell. Today I got “speaker religion” and it’s called Warehouse Guitar Speakers.
