Hello, I'm sure this has been answered before. I just bought a 1960B and want to replace 2 G12T's. I guess the popular thing is to swap for 2 V30's so I'm thinking the Veteran 30 is the way to go. I'm 43 and a 80's metal head so I guess I'm looking for nice cleans and blues, to Floyd and Metallica. I don't do any drop tuning except for 1/2 and an occasional whole step down. Also it's mainly home use so I'm not worried about a band and cutting through in the mix situation. I'm looking for more mids, just not spikey mids.
