Guys,

All my cabinets are semi open back. I prefer this for the big, organic, 3-D sound. Bogner with 4" slot opening down the middle horizontally, Stone Age 212C with 4" slot across middle as well. Both these cabs I can close off as well and a THD 212 which has like a 2" slot port.

So, a friend of mine found the INvaders to be ratty in his semi open back, but I think his cabs have a larger openings.

What are the speakers of choice or pairings that work well for clean to hard rock in a semi open cab?

I was watching VSCOW demos of WGS on Youtube and he suggested that the ET65 is better for fixing amps and that if I already love my amps (which I do), I should go Green Beret and or Reaper. However, my cabs are 212 and semi open back. So, I would need the Invader and Reaper 50, but I am told the Invader is too ratty in a semi open cab. :(

Thoughts?
