Im using a Mesa Boogie RA-100 with a half open/ half closed 2-12 cab with C90 and V30 respectively. Looking for that nice Marshall tone from the 70's and 80's. The clean channel and blue channel are great, the red, I can live without. Any thoughts on speakers to accomplish this? I find the cab is too flubby right now with its current speakers, for sure the C90.

Okay ... sure! By "half open/ half closed" ... I'm assuming you mean one speaker is in a sealed enclose and one open-back. So, put a Britt lead in the open side and a Invader in the closed side. The best of both Marshall flavors!
