On stage and for loud practice I play a combo of WGS Invader & Retro 30 in a 2x12 Palmer vertical cab, which for me is the perfect sounding combination. For recording purposes I use my Randall ISO Cab which has a Celestion Vintage 30 in it. Now I'm seeking for an alternative to replace the V30. In various other threads the ET65 is recommended for use in iso cabs. I use various amps from 5-100 watts (Blackstar HT5, JetCity JCA20&50, H&K Trilogy). The music I play is a mixture of blues, progressive metal (Tool, Opeth) and metal (Metallica, Anthrax). Should I try the ET65 or would you recommend another WGS speaker? With best wishes from Germany Markus

Yes ... I would go with the ET65 ... unless you plan to really open-up a 100-watter on it ... and then I'd go ET90.
