Hi everyone!
I've got a Blackhawk HP 8 ohm speaker here. It's really awesome!!
I wanted to use it in a 2x12 cab. I know that a parallel-wiring with another 8 ohm Blackhawk results in 4 ohm total impedance.
The serial wiring results in 16 ohm.
My tube-amp has switchable outputs 4/8/16 ohm (50 watts).
My questions are: Are there any tonal differences between a parallel and serial wiring?
And: Is it possible to mix a HP Blackhawk with a 50 watt Blackhawk (same impedance of course)?
Thanks!
