building a mesa-style thiele cabinet, (EV TL806) to pair with my blackstar HT5 for home/bedroom use...low wattage

my styles are mainly metal (metallica, slipknot, down) and grunge wiith some classic rock (sabbath, GnR) too I don't want ice-pick highs but good chugging lows.. mostly high gain, some drop tuned, C# etc..

by the clips I'm liking the sounds of both the reaper HP and the HM75... which would be better as a lone speaker for this type of amp/style?

Awesome, thanks for the input. I was leaning that way anyway... Well, HP model was my thought, because I might add a slightly bigger amp for small gigs/jams.. 15-20 watt... Jca20 or orange dark terror

The Reaper HP is just a tiny bit darker than the regular reaper ... probably a good choice if you might use the cab with a head of above 30-watts at some point.
