So I have a Fender 1969 Bandmaster head and cab that I have had for a decent amount of time, but the tone is somewhat lacking. The highs sound somewhat harsh and piercing and the lows are very woofy and not very pleasant. I am looking at getting new speakers but I don't know what speakers will work best. I have heard the G12C and G12C/s are both very good, so I am torn between getting one or the other or just getting one of both. Can someone recommend what would be best? Thanks!

I just bought a '67 Bandmaster. Cool amp.
I'd go with one smooth & one ribbed. Oh, and make sure all the caps are healthy in the amp ... weak filtering can really thin out an old Fender.
