Hi,

I'm wanting some advise as to what would work in an Ampeg V2 4x12 cabinet driven by a Marshall 2204 50watt.  This cabinet is huge 42"tall, 29"wide 14" deep. Internally partitioned and ported.

I was thinking 2 ET65 and 2 Vetern 30 in an X pattern.

What do you think?

Hi Mike,

Yea, you would probably be happy with the Vet/ET combo ... This is a rare case where I'd stay away from the Ret 30 because of the huge ported box.

Also, a quad of GB's or Invaders would really make a great classic rock box outta that big cab! The invaders would probably be my choice.
