I am looking for a single speaker that would come closest to the et65/retro 30 combo i have in my 2x12.

i am actually begining to see the "magic" in this combo by the way.  After playing with two et65s, the retro seems to indeed add a certain sparkle and a deeper bass to the sound.

Now that i "get" the combo, i am wondering if there is one speaker that can give me a similar sound.  i like the tightness and sparkle that the retro imparts as well as the round, vintagey mids that the et65 adds.

 

What say you Vaughn?

 

I have a 100w head and a 60w combo of the same amp. i normally run the combo in it's 30w mode or not very loud in 60w.
