Hi.  I'm thinking of getting new speakers for my two cabs [White Box 412 and the older Randall Lynch Box 412] to go with K100s in an X pattern for playing metal.  I've been drawn to the Retro 30 because it's a more articulate, brighter version of the Vet 30 and because I hear the Vintage 30/K100 mix is excellent.  Do you think this combo would work?  

Also, I'm pretty sure the ET65 is not for me, but maybe you could make other suggestions?  The HM75 might be too much as well, especially with the VHT/Fryette Sig:X I am using with drop C and drop B tunings, however, the Invader and especially the BL80 might be something to look into.

Anyways, thanks for the advice.

I would say yes to the Retro 30/K100 pairing.

If you like Green Backs, then you will like the invader, if not ...

The Britt Lead will be fairly tonally similar to your K100's.
