I have a 25 watt Peavey Bravo.  What is the smallest and largest wattage speaker I can use with that amp without hurting either? What speaker would be recommended for that amp for Classsic Rock?  Can someone give an explanation of variations of wattage that will and won't hurt amp and speaker and why?  I've heard many explanations and some exact opposites!  What is right???   Thanks.....

ALL WGS models will light up just fine with ANY amp ... Even a little 1-watt pico valve or the like.  The only speakers you want to stay away from with a low wattage amp are the ultra-high power types ... Like our Bass/PA type or, say, a EVM 12L or something like that.  Because they are designed for extreme power handling , they are quite stiff and don't sound worth a poop until driven quite hard.

on the other end, all WGS speakers are rated in actual tube watts, so a 50-watt WGS speaker can handle an actual 50-watt tube amp.
