Posted this direct before finding Q&A section.I am in cover band love the heavy rock but also do a variety of music.I have a Blackstar HTV 212 and looking for speakers. My cabinet is 8 ohm mono 16 ohm stereo. I am guessing that I need (2)16 ohm speakers.Wattage is 160 watt mono/ 8o ohm stereo. Have no idea what I need...think 75 watt speakers?I am leaning towards 2 retro 30s but have been toying with the idea of a retro 30 with a Reaper HPMy cabinet currently has 70/80s loaded in it and it sounds bassy, not crunchy and snarly like I want the distortion to sound.I use PRS and EVH wolfgang guitars. I also like the sparkle clean sounds. ANy help for the ohms challenged would be graciously accepted.Any speaker conbination suggestions would also be welcome.

Here are the two key clues:

1; "it sounds bassy, not crunchy and snarly like I want the distortion to sound"

2; "I also like the sparkle clean sounds"

Soo ... one Retro 30 & one Invader is your prescription!  Both 16 ohms if you want to keep the impedance as it curently is :-)
