Just ordered a Granger CG50 amp (50-watt) and am putting together a 2x12 cab.  Thinking about a few choices..

The coverband I'm in is doing lots of Zep, Aerosmith, AC/DC

Vet30 with ET-65

Retro30 with ET-65

Vet30 with Reaper

Retro30 with Reaper

Green Beret with either ET-65 or Reaper

Concerned about wattage on the Beret though.

Thoughts?

Ok, so no one has a suggestion or can comment on what they used successfully for this style of music?   Maybe I'll just get Celestions instead rather than an unknown like WGS.

Sounds like you would like the ET65 & Vet 30 combo.  Oh, and remember that WGS is to Celestion what Granger is to Marshall!
