Hello,

I like the idea of mixing speakers in my Marshall 4x12, possibly going with the combo of Retro 30's and Invaders.  I also like the idea of all invaders.  Any ideas suggestions?

I play a WIDE variety of music styles from clean jazz chordal material to blues to extreme metal. Currently all of my guitars are at standard tuning, but that changes.  I am looking for a nice all around sound.  The current GT-75 in my Marshall are too mid scooped and bassy, I would like a better tone.

Thanks,

Dan

Since you state:

"The current GT-75 in my Marshall are too mid scooped and bassy"

I'd say you would probably like the ALL Invader route ...

Post back with what you decide and how it works out!

Vaughn,

Thanks for the reply.  Just curious as to why you didn't suggest mixing the Invader with the Retro 30's?  From all of the clips I've listened to and the posts that I've read, a combo of these 2 models loaded into a 4 x12 seems like it would be stunning.

Thanks,

DAN

Since you said you were trying to get away from "mid scooped and bassy" ... and the Rets are just that to a slight degree...
