Hey, I play stooges/black sabbath esque rock and roll with a lot of fuzz but sometimes "clean" (amp is still naturally overdriven, just no stomp boxes on) and I've really been eyeing picking up a Liberator for this empty 2x12 I've got, but this is my first foray into speaker arranging and I was wondering how a Liberator paired with another WGS would work out?  I was personally thinking about a Retro 30 or a BL 80.  The amp I'm running is already pretty swampy (mig 100U) and I'm kinda trying to push the mids and distinguish (not brighten necesarilly) the highs a bit more while keeping its natural darkness.

Thanks,

Jack

Hummm ... since you state "I'm kinda trying to push the mids and distinguish (not brighten necesarilly) the highs a bit more while keeping its natural darkness."

I would say just make it a pair of Liberators.  You could make one a Vet 30 if you wanted to up the upper-mids just a little.

Thanks for your advice!  I actually ended up going with a Liberator/Retro 30 combo.  I'll let you guys know how it works out!  Thanks a bunch!
